Permits to burn are required for the restricted burning period and must be obtained from the Bush Fire Control Officer.

The Council Plan consultation will take place between February and September 2025. Key consultation stages are shown in the timeline below. Further details will be provided on this page as they become available.

The MARKYT Community Scorecard will be live from February 14-March 14. Following this, we will hold a series of community workshops in May. Feedback from the survey and scorecard will be used to draft the Council Plan. It is expected to be endorsed in July, and go out for public comment in August.
