The Program is an annual helping hand for local groups and organisations that create projects which improve sustainability, inclusivity, resilience and connectedness in the Harvey Region.
Last year, the Shire supported 17 projects through the Program, including the 2024 Brunswick Show, Leschenault Men’s Shed rooftop solar panel installation and replacement of the cricket net synthetic surface at the Harvey-Benger Cricket Club.
Categories for funding
The Shire of Harvey’s Community Grants Program includes eight categories: Community Support; Coastal Communities Fund; Placemaking; Infrastructure; Arts, Culture and Heritage; Community Events; Athlete Travel Subsidy; and the Alcoa Harvey Sustainability Fund.
The Program is supported by the Shire’s longstanding strategic community partner, Alcoa .

- Our Grants Officer will be hosting one-on-one project discussion sessions throughout February and March to help you navigate the process. Applicants applying in the 2025 Shire of Harvey Community Grant Program are required to discuss their application with the Shire's Grant Officer prior to submitting an application as part of meeting the eligibility criteria. A support ticket number will be issued by the Grants Officer, which must be entered into the grant application form. Book your session now!
