Permits to burn are required for the restricted burning period and must be obtained from the Bush Fire Control Officer.

Shire’s Administration Centres in Australind and Harvey will be closed from 12noon on 24 December 2024 and will reopen on 2 January 2025.

*Binningup Library will be closed from 25 December 2024 and will reopen on 3 January 2025. Yarloop Library will be closed from 17 December 2024 and will reopen on 4 February 2025. The community can access books/items from Yarloop CRC and/or Harvey Library during this time.
**The HRCC 24-hour gym will remain open throughout the holiday season.
All our facilities return to normal operating hours on Thursday, 2 January 2025.
There will be no waste collection on Christmas Day, Wednesday, 25 December 2024.
Bins will be collected a day later than usual (bins ordinarily collected on Wednesday will be collected on Thursday, and so on).
Waste collection will resume as normal during the week starting Monday, 30 December 2024.
