Our libraries in Australind and Harvey host free events for young children that are fun, interactive and educational. Both libraries will have a special activity before Easter on Wednesday, 27 March, featuring live bunnies. 

Libraries School Holiday Program

For youth in the Shire, we will be hosting two events these school holidays: Dodgeball in Brunswick and LLC Pool Party! These events are for youth aged between 10 and 18.

Both Leschenault Leisure Centre and Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre are hosting a Holiday Program during the school holidays. Primary school students can enjoy a variety of activities at our centres. View program of activities:

You don't want to miss the grand opening event of the Harvey Skatepark! We will officially open the skatepark on Sunday, 7 April at 12noon. The community celebration will continue for two hours with plenty of free activities. These include a driving simulator, a local DJ, a soccer competition with prizes courtesy of Harvey Hawks, a free BBQ courtesy of Harvey Swimming Club, a Soggy Bones skateboard workshop with prizes, a scooter freestyle event, a surprise student competition with a $500 prize pool, a live broadcast by Harvey Community Radio and much more.
