Permits to burn are required for the restricted burning period and must be obtained from the Bush Fire Control Officer.

Some of the Shire's facilities will be closed on Monday, 4 March 2024 for the Labour Day public holiday.

Due to the Labour Day Public Holiday on Monday, 4 March 2024, the following Shire of Harvey facilities will be closed:

Administration Centres in Australind and Harvey - Closed
Shire of Harvey Libraries - Closed
Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre will be closed all day. The 24-hour gym will still be accessible.

The following Shire Of Harvey facilities will be open for business with adjusted opening hours:

There will be no changes to the bin collection schedule.
