Brunswick Districts Bowling Club and Brunswick Tennis Club have secured $131,952 for club upgrades.

Brunswick's sport scene has received a boost after two clubs secured State Government grants.

Brunswick Districts Bowling Club obtained $78,267 to support upgrades of a bowling green to synthetic surface and Brunswick Tennis Club will upgrade four tennis courts to synthetic surfaces with a $53,685 grant.

Both clubs received Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Funding (CSRFF) through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC)

The recent Brunswick cash splash is enhanced by a $1.2 million upgrade to power and lighting at Brunswick Recreation Ground.

This project will improve facility offerings and improve vision during team training and events in the evenings.
