The Shire of Harvey is seeking community input on the latest Ridley Place Foreshore Master Plan Update.

The community is invited to have their say on the Ridley Place Foreshore Master Plan Update. 

The Shire of Harvey will host a Pop-up event in May to gather public feedback. 

The Ridley Place Foreshore Master Plan was first adopted by the Shire of Harvey Council in 2014.

So far, a number of milestones have been reached, including:

  • Construction of two new finger jetties
  • Upgrade of the existing boat ramp
  • Reconfiguration and upgrade of the southern car park and construction of the northern car park
  • Upgrade of Old Coast Road to provide a safe crossing point into the reserve, including improved streetscape
  • Provision of a sewer connection for the future proposed kiosk/toilet/restaurant facility
  • Council endorsement of a footprint of a cafe/restaurant development
  • Demolition of existing play area
  • Construction of a new nature based play space, Karragarup
  • Seating, landscaping, paths and shelter added
  • Irrigation filtration system installed
