Permits to burn are required for the restricted burning period and must be obtained from the Bush Fire Control Officer.

Mask mandate to be scrapped as of 12:01am Friday, 29 April 2022.

The State Government has announced that public health and social measures will ease further as of 12:01am Friday, 29 April 2022.

Masks will no longer be mandatory except for high risk settings for people aged 12 years and older in the following settings:

On public transport, in taxis and rideshare vehicles and other passenger transport.
Airports.
Hospitals, residential aged care and disability service facilities and correctional facilities.

Masks are encouraged where physical distancing isn't possible.
