Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre Winner at CircuitWest Pinnacle Performing Arts Awards.

Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre (HRCC) was presented as the winners for the Pinnacle Performing Arts Awards for the Western Australian Presenter of the Year.

Shire of Harvey President Paul Gillett said Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre was nominated for supporting and developing new WA productions and outstanding commitment to supporting WA work.

“Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre has developed a reputation for outstanding and diverse performances and for a huge commitment to community engagement,” Cr Gillett said.

“The award celebrates the best in live performance industry across the whole state of Western Australia.

“Congratulations to the amazing team at HRCC for all the work you do to bring quality cultural experiences to our Shire for the community to enjoy.”

The awards were presented at WA Showcase on 1 November at the Octagon Theatre by Hon David Templeman MLA, Minister for Tourism; Culture and the Arts; Heritage.

According to CircuitWest Executive Director Ryan Taaffe, it was a tough selection process with so many individuals and organisations delivering such high quality across the state.

“The award is about excellence in all its forms and this has meant that the spectrum of presenters and producers recognised has been very wide,” he said.

“CircuitWest congratulates the award winners for raising the bar in Western Australia.”
