28 Jan 2021

The Eaton/Australind Waterfront Historic Trail was officially opened by Hon Dr Sally Talbot MLC.

The Eaton/Australind Waterfront Historic Trail was officially opened today by the Hon Dr Sally Talbot MLC.

The pathway project was a joint initiative between the Shire of Harvey and the Shire of Dardanup and provides connectivity for cyclists and pedestrians between the two shires.

The 2.5m wide pathway runs along the Eaton Foreshore, across the Collie River Bridge, along Old Coast Road to Ridley Place Foreshore Reserve.

The project was funded by the Department of Transport under the Regional Bicycle Network Local Government Grants program and the shires of Harvey and Dardanup.

We hope that the South West community will enjoy using this shared pathway while taking in the spectacular vistas of the Collie River and Leschenault Estuary.
