Permits to burn are required for the restricted burning period and must be obtained from the Bush Fire Control Officer.

Pavement reinstatement works will start on Friday, 10 December at 6am on Uduc Road, Harvey.
The Shire’s asphalt contractor will be undertaking works in the west bound lane on Uduc Road from Geo Vino to Hobsons Furniture.
The works will include milling out a portion of the existing asphalt layer and relaying new asphalt to alleviate the ponding of storm water during heavy rainfall.
The works are planned to start at 6am on Friday, 10 December 2021 and will require the west bound traffic lane to be closed until approximately 1pm on the same day.
Traffic management comprising a detour for west bound traffic will be in place for the duration of the works. West bound traffic will be detoured via Hayward Street/Gibbs Street/Young Street and traffic controllers will be onsite to assist with directions.
Please note that the footpath adjacent to the works will remain open while the works are in progress.
