Kylie recently won the WAYRBA Hoffman award and KOALA Honour award. Teddy Bear rhymetime Join in on the fun and laughter in the Teddy Bear Tent, meet our special guests and say hello to 'Marley'!
City of Bunbury Libraries are bringing theTeddy Bears Roadshow to the Ridley Place park on Friday, 8 March 2024 at 10am. The program consists of a Story Time followed by a Teddy Bears Picnic in the special teddy bears tent. Families are encouraged to enjoy a coffee, stay, play and connect at the playground thereafter. Face painter will also be attending on the day.
BYO: towel to sit on (or sit on the grass) and your child’s favourite teddy bear.
Afternoon tea and Sign with Auslan in the West In this event, we will cover these topics:
- Learn about Deaf Community and Deaf Culture
- Communicate with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community
- Learn Auslan alphabet, numbers, greeting and drinks/foods signs.

Hut building with Educated by Nature This nature-based incursion is designed to connect students (and teachers) with the natural world through play. This creates an internal sense of why it’s important to change our environmental behaviours, and work to find sustainable solutions for our world.
The incursions are designed to empower students through the opportunity to develop skills and find individual and collaborative success in the transformation of natural objects.

His funny and highly engaging presentations have been developed to complement the health and well being aspects of the Australian school curriculum as well as connecting with pastoral care policies.

May Gibbs Display at Harvey Library Cecilia May Gibbs was one of Australia’s foremost children’s authors and illustrators and is best known today for the iconic Australian children’s story, The Complete Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie.

School workshop with Katie Stewart Katie Stewart is an author and illustrator. Born in the north of England, she came to Australia at the age of nine. She started her working life as an archaeologist and ethnohistorian, went on to teaching and then to being a mother.
Her books have been shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year (2020 and 2021) and shortlisted for the WA Premier’s Book Awards (2022).
