About the Role
As the Manager Assets, you will play a pivotal role in:
- Developing and implementing asset management strategies, policies, and plans.
- Guiding key methodologies to enhance asset sustainability and performance.
- Designing and overseeing innovative asset management programs.
- Ensuring the Shire’s asset register systems and condition inspections are maintained efficiently.
- Delivering long-term solutions that uphold exceptional service for our community.

Benefits and conditions
Up to a five-year contract with an attractive salary in the order of up to $130,000 with an annual review will be negotiated, dependent on experience and qualifications and benefits such as:
- Superannuation of 11.5 per cent from date of commencement, with an opportunity for the Shire to match an employee’s voluntary contribution of five or six per cent to their nominated plan.
- Private use of a Shire vehicle in accordance with Shire Policy.
- A mobile phone for business use in accordance with Shire Policy.
- Professional memberships up to the value of $500 per annum.
- Professional development up to the value of $1,500 per annum.
- Full-time position, located at the Harvey Depot.
- Four weeks paid annual leave.
- One rostered day off is available after every 19 working days.
- Free membership to the Leschenault Leisure Centre, the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre and the Dr Peter Topham Memorial Swimming Pool.
- A medical examination and a current police clearance will be required prior to appointment, costs to be reimbursed by the Shire.
