This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Recreation and Fitness programs, Cultural activities, Childcare services and public events at the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre. This role will also undertake a range of duties to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all aspects of the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre, within a team environment.

Benefits and Conditions
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government Officers’ (WA) Award 2021 with a salary payable for this position of Level 5 ($78,230 to $82,047) per annum pro-rata, depending on qualifications and experience and benefits such as:
- Superannuation of 11.5 per cent occupational superannuation from date of commencement, with an opportunity that the Shire will match an employee’s voluntary contribution to their nominated plan provided that employee contributes an amount of at least 5 per cent or 6 per cent of their own salary.
- Fulltime position for 76 hours per fortnight – Monday to Sunday located at the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre or part-time position with the opportunity for flexible working hours.
- Four weeks paid annual leave, including a 17.5 per cent leave loading.
- A probationary period of three months is applicable to this position.
- Free membership to the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre, the Leschenault Leisure Centre, and the Dr Peter Topham Memorial Swimming Pool.
- A medical examination and current police clearance will be required prior to appointment, costs to be reimbursed by the Shire.
