About KidsportKidSport provides financial assistance for eligible children aged 5-18 years, to participate in community sport and recreation. The funding of up to $150 per calendar year is to be put toward their club registration fees only. The fees go directly to the registered KidSport clubs participating in the project.
Eligibility criteriaTo receive KidSport funding, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Aged 5–18 years
- Applicant must be named on a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card (with individual card number clearly displayed on the uploaded card)
- Registration must be for a KidSport approved club.

How to applyYou can apply for KidSport online or visit the Shire of Harvey to complete a hard copy application.
Your KidSport application will be assessed by the Shire of Harvey. If the application is approved, the KidSport team will email you a voucher code (unique to the child). The code needs to be provided to the club when registering so that the approved amount can be deducted from the registration or membership fees.
All voucher codes will expire in 90 days.
Register your club for KidSportTo be an eligible KidSport club, a club needs to deliver a recognised sport and be either a community sport club, incorporated organisation, business, school or Parents and Citizens Association that meet the mandatory criteria.
