The Shire of Harvey’s biggest youth festival is just around the corner.
The Shire of Harvey’s biggest youth festival is just around the corner. Returning for the second year in a row, Youthchella will bring a mix of fun activities, Western Australian artists and delicious food to Ridley Place Australind Foreshore on Saturday, 21 January. In the program are electric performances from popular bands King Blue and Rubyhoo, as well as bungy jumping, bubble soccer and laser tag. Young people will also have the opportunity to meet with local emergency service teams, chat with youth mental health organisation representatives and jump in a driving simulator at this jam-packed event. Youth with different sensory needs will also have fun at the Youthchella ‘Quiet Zone,’ – a dedicated space for kids to chill out and relax. Youthchella is supported by a combined $8,000 in community funding from Southern Ports, Tronox and South32. This is a drug free, alcohol free and smoke free event. The event will be held at Ridley Place Australind Foreshore on Saturday, 21 January 2023 from 4pm to 7pm.
