Age Friendly Plan 2021-2026

Age Friendly Plan 2021-2026
23 Sep 2021

Have your say to make the Shire an even more age friendly place to live and visit.

The Shire of Harvey is developing an Age Friendly Plan by reviewing the needs, aspirations and framework required to make our Shire an age friendly Shire for residents and visitors 55 years and over.

The development of this plan builds upon and reviews the Greater Bunbury Age-Friendly Communities Strategy developed in August 2016.

We are seeking input from residents, visitors, caregivers and service providers via an online survey, interviews and focus group conversations, particularly on the below aspects:

  • Transport.
  • Housing.
  • Communication and information.
  • Social networks, relationships and inclusion.
  • Community participation and volunteerism.
  • Health and support services.
  • Outdoor spaces and buildings.

Have your say on the Age Friendly Plan by completing the survey online.

Paper copies of the survey are available at Australind and Harvey Libraries, Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre and Leschenault Leisure Centre.
