Permits to burn are required for the restricted burning period and must be obtained from the Bush Fire Control Officer.

The Shire welcomed 56 new citizens at a ceremony in Harvey on Tuesday, 13 April.
The Shire held a citizenship ceremony at the Harvey Town Hall welcoming 56 new citizens from 14 different countries on Tuesday, 13 April.
The conferees were from the 14 countries including Philippines, Iraq, Ireland, England and Germany.
Shire of Harvey President Paul Gillett said it was fantastic to welcome these new residents who had chosen to call the Shire of Harvey their new home.
"It really is a great place to live and we welcome you to this fantastic part of the world and hope that you feel at home here," Cr Gillett said.
